Biography
In 2002, I started playing t-ball at the age of 5. After one season of t-ball I moved up to rec ball for 3 seasons. At the age of 8, I began playing for my first travel team which was a 10U team. Once I got into middle school, I started all 3 years, with the second highest batting average my 6th grade year and then the highest average my 7th & 8th grade years. High school softball season came and as a Freshmen, I was the starting shortstop on varsity along with batting 4th in the lineup.
The reasons I love softball so much is because it is something I love doing and I get great pleasure from playing it. I consider being able to play the sport I love a privelage because there are some people who are not as fortunate as I am and are not able to do the things they love anymore. Along with that, I am passionate about softball because of the new bestfriends/sisters I gain. To be able to play the sport I love with the teammates that I know and trust is just the greatest feeling ever.
Softball is not the only thing I am passionate about. School is also a very important priority in my life. I have a 4.0 GPA and have all Honors & AP classes. Outside of school, if I'm not practicing or playing softball, I enjoy volunteering at the VA Medical Center and helping the veterans get to where they need to go and sitting down and talking with them and just keeping them company. I am also a member of the National Honors Society, HOSA Club, Health Academy, Student Government and the Fellowship Of Christian Athletes.
Some of the goals I have planned for my life are going to college and playing college softball. After college I plan on applying and going to med school to continue on my education to become an Orthopedic Radiologist.
