Biography
I have been on the varsity football team since i was in 8th grade and got to learn under Joseph Brunell who is currently playing at Georgetown for football. Before my Junior season I was not able to play often but, whenever I got into the game I know that I need to make the most of whatever situation, good or bad. This past May I dislocated my shoulder and torn the labrum in a workout that required surgery. Sadly, I was not able to play in the spring game which was important to me because as a football player you only get 1 game per week, so you must take advantage of the moment. The road to recovery was tough physically and mentally because I was very limited in the summer workouts, but I kept my head up and kept rehabbing my shoulder. During fall camp I won the quarterback battle and started in the kickoff classic, i played well but still did not feel like myself. For the next couple of games I got limited playing time as I was beginning to become more confident. For the final 4 games of the season I won the starting job back and played with the most confident I have ever felt. Since I knew I was battle tested, I ended the season with 8 combined touchdowns(6 passing and 2 running) in the final four games. Even though the season did not start the way I wanted it to, I know that it is not about how you start it is about how you finish.
