Biography

Hi. I am Austin Hillabrandt and I am currently a Junior at Ionia High school, Ionia Michigan.
I enjoy playing a variety of sports and have played baseball and basketball at a competitive level. I recently joined the power lifting team and always trying to improve my strength and speed. Football has always been my passion and what I’ve focused on the most. Quarterback was the position I was assigned at a young age because of strong leadership skills and athleticism according to my coaches.My freshman year I played on the freshman team as the quarterback and occasionally JV. My Sophomore year I played on the Varsity team where I played a variety of positions like quarterback, slot, running back, and cornerback. I enjoy all the positions, but QB is my passion. As a sophomore I started on defense at the start of the season and soon began sharing the quarterback position at the varsity level. When not busy in the classroom or on the field, I enjoy being involved in the community such as volunteering with the elderly and I am also a member of AHERO (Athletes Helping Everyone Reach Out.) an anti bullying organization. I’m always striving to be a better athlete and to be better in the classroom because that is just as important as playing football. I take great pride in being a leader on and off the field and am always striving to make the people around me better. My goal is to play at the college level and attain a higher education as well as furthering my options as an athlete.
